• You may pay online, by mail or using the drop box before security only.

Pay online:

• Pay fines in full online with a credit or debit card.
• A third-party convenience fee will be added of 2% of the amount due plus 25 cents per transaction and will go directly to the payment vendor.
• You cannot make partial or installment payments online. They must be made by mail or in person. 

Pay by mail:

• Send check of money order for the amount due, made payable to"Municipal Court" to: P.O. Box 219381, Kansas City, MO 64121-9381
• Write your ticket number and/or payment plan contract number in the memo field.  Your payment may not be applied correctly if we cannot determine which case(s) it is for.

Use the drop box in the lobby 

• Use an envelope to drop off a check or money order for the amount due, made payable to"Municipal Court." 
• Write your ticket number and/or payment plan contract number in the memo field.  Your payment may not be applied correctly if we cannot determine which case(s) it is for.
• The drop box is just inside the front door, before security.
• Available during business hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday

Pay in person: NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME

Deadline to pay a fine

• Payable ticket fines are due by the scheduled court date.
• Fines ordered in court by the judge are due immediately.

Payment plans

• Available on qualifying cases if you need additional time to pay your fine.
