A MESSAGE TO OUR CUSTOMERS:

While City Hall is open to the public as of May 18, 2020, we are still encouraging our customers to use our online service CompassKC to submit plans and apply for permits. Tutorials are posted below.

If you require service at City Hall, phones will be available on the 5th and 15th floors to call for staff to assist with limited customer service issues.

Inspection activities continue as usual, but we are practicing social distancing. We expect our permit customers to provide appropriate social distancing to our inspectors. For more on this topic please read our Construction Site Safety Message.
