If a holiday falls during the week, trash and recycling collection takes place on the day following the holiday, and collection for the remaining days of the week also takes place one day later than usual. Friday trash is collected on Saturday during such weeks.

No collection occurs on the following holidays:

• New Year’s Day
• Martin Luther King Jr. Day
• Presidents Day - Feb. 17
• Memorial Day - May 25
• Independence Day - July 4 - no-tag pickup July 6-10
• Labor Day - Sept. 7
• Veterans Day - Nov. 11
• Thanksgiving Day - Nov. 26
• Christmas - Dec. 25 - no-tag pickup Dec. 28-31, Jan. 2
